Transportation
The Washington D.C. area is serviced by three major airports, Ronald Reagan
Washington National Airport (National), Washington Dulles International
Airport (Dulles), and Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI). The
DoubleTree Hotel, National Airport and other local hotels are conveniently
reached via the METRO train. Car rentals are available at all three airports.
Parking is available at the DoubleTree Hotel for a nominal daily fee. Public
transportation via the METRO is recommended.

Technical Presentations
Technical presentations on topics related to wire system aging are welcome
and are encouraged. If you would like to make a presentation, please submit
a one page abstract of your paper via email (preferred), fax or mail to the
Conference Chairman, Jit Vora, by January 31, 2002. Papers should focus
on the four topics of interest for this conference, and should discuss ongoing
and planned programs, as well as issues for future research and collaboration.
Final papers will be due by March 15, 2002.
