Sixteenth Summer School in Nuclear Physics
Bar Harbor, Maine
June 13 - June 25, 2004

The 16th National Nuclear Physics Summer School is being organized by Brookhaven National Laboratory and the University of Massachusetts. The school will be held on the campus of the College of the Atlantic, Bar Harbor, Maine. The school is intended for advanced graduate students and beginning postdoctoral researchers in either experimental or theoretical nuclear physics. The primary aim is to provide future researchers with a broad perspective on current research in the field. Lecture courses will cover the major themes in nuclear physics research. Partial scholarships for local expenses are available for most participants.

In addition, there will be opportunities for selected students to speak. Students will be lodged on the campus of the College of the Atlantic, Bar Harbor, Maine which is also the site of this year's school. The number of students will be limited to aprox. 50, and some fellowship support is available. The application deadline is May 1, 2004. However, please apply as early as possible as space is limited.
