Call for Applications**
Applications are now being accepted for the ninth Dr. Mow Shiah Lin
Scholarship. The annual $1,000 scholarship was initiated to honor the late
Brookhaven Lab scientist for whom it is named. A
BNL press release
announcing the scholarship and letters to several
local colleges/universities have been sent out to seek
prospective candidates. If you know of a graduate student who
qualifies for this scholarship, please direct them to our website for
application information.
If you are interested in being a part of this exciting process, join the
APAA Scholarship Committee where you can take part in any phase of this
process from reviewing the applications to planning the award ceremony. |

The mission of the Asian Pacific American Association is to promote community and awareness at BNL through educational, cultural, and social programs, and the annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month events, as well as to support BNL's objectives and goals toward diversity in the workplace.
