Congratulations to the winner of the Dr. Mow Shiah Lin Scholarship Award, Ying Liu!  Ms. Liu is a talented graduate student in the Department of Materials Science at Stony Brook University.  Her research truly embodies the spirit of human and environmental concern that was characteristic of Dr. Lin's work throughout his life.

You are cordially invited to join us as we present the scholarship award to Ms. Liu this Thursday, November 19th, at 4:00pm in the Hamilton Seminar Room, Building 555.  Refreshments will be provided after the event.  For a printable flyer of this event, please click here.

The mission of the Asian Pacific American Association is to promote community and awareness at BNL through cultural/social programs, and the annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month events, as well as to support BNL's objectives and goals toward diversity in the workplace.
