*Sharda is the voice behind many memorable songs of yester years such as, “Titli Udi, Ud Jo Chali”, “Duniya Ki Sair Karlo”, “Dekho Mera Dil Machal Gaya”, “Vo Pari Kahan Se Laoon”, etc., and was music director in films such as “Maila Anchal”, “Mandir Masjid”, “Garibi Hatao”, etc. She has sung in many movies such as “Suraj”, “Gumnam”, “An Evening in Paris”, “Sapnon Ka Saudagar”, etc. She sang solos, with well known singers such as Mahmood, Md. Raffi, Mukesh, etc. and with music directors such as “Shanker Jaikishan”, “Ravi”, “Usha Khanna” and “Iqbal Quraishi”, etc.
