
We are pleased to announce that BERA Indo American Association (BERA-IAA) will hold its annual Diwali Function on Saturday November 8th, 2008 at Berkner Hall in Brookhaven National Laboratory. As in the previous years, this program will show case the rich culture and traditions of Indian subcontinent through music, dance, powder painting etc. produced by both professional and amateur artists. The program will start at 3:00 p.m. and is expected to continue till 8:00 p.m. We would serve you with authentic Indian snacks during intermission and a semi-formal Indian dinner after the cultural program.
In addition, we are also looking for the displays related to science, arts, etc. of the Indian subcontinent. Please use the above form for making a request or suggestion for this as well. Use description of event and comment area to explain what you would like to display.
