We are pleased to announce that BERA Indo American Association (BERA-IAA) will hold Holi Function (Festival of Colors) on Saturday March 10th, 2007 at Berkner Hall in Brookhaven National Laboratory. This program will be consisted of songs, dances, instrumental music, etc. to share the rich culture and traditions of Indian subcontinent. The program will start at 1:30 p.m. and includes an intermission with light snack and tea/coffee.

 

The event is now open for reservations to attend and to perform. All reservations (including modifications and cancellations) must be made through Internet. Ticket price is $6 for adults (over 12 years), $3 for children (3 to 12 years), and $0 for Infant (0+ to 2 years) for reservations made by Friday March 2, 2007. All tickets are subject to availability and are not confirmed until payment is received (see details at the reservation link). Ticket prices for Adults and Children will increase by $1 after 03/02/07.

You will be notified by e-mail if your request to perform has been accepted. Please note that you must have a reservation number (to attend) before you can make a request to perform. For group performances, you must have at least one confirmed reservation (more names with reservation numbers can be added later using event modification facility).

 

In addition, we are also looking for the displays related to science, arts, culture, etc. of the Indian subcontinent. Please use the above form for making a request or suggestion for this as well. Use description of event and comment area to explain what you would like to display.
