January 21 Hammer of the Gods

This show was a sell-out!! Thanks for your support!!

Performing the best of Led Zeppelin, Hammer of the Gods is made up of four diverse New York musicians:  Thomas on vocals, Paul on guitar, Kevin on Drums, and Chris on bass.  The band ironically came together when two of its members set out to form a cover band.  The original foursome found a bit of a chemistry problem as their musical tastes and influences didn’t quite gel.  There was one exception:  their mutual love for Led Zeppelin.  It was this one common thread that lead to the formation of Hammer of the Gods. It was clear, once the band found their niche, that their goal was to pay tribute to the music of one of the greatest rock bands of all times.  The band’s wish is to recreate some of the magic of Led Zeppelin while playing the music by which they and so many others are inspired. The response to Hammer of the Gods performance and translation of Zeppelin’s music has been widely accepted.  Their fan base is continuing to grow as they branch out to a variety of Long Island clubs and New York City venues.
