Directions to BNL Toastmasters Club Meeting Sites
To get to the BNL Toastmasters Club meeting, take the Long Island Expressway to William Floyd Parkway (exit 68 on the LIE) north to the Lab entrance which will be on the right.
Go through the main gate to the guard booth. Tell the guard you are going to the Biology Building, # 463, to attend a Toastmasters Meeting. Be prepared to show photo ID. Call ahead if you are a non-BNL employee to be sure you will be allowed on-site. (See Gate Procedures.)
After passing the guard booth proceed to the traffic light and make a left turn onto Upton Road.
Evening Meetings: Biology Department
Proceed on Upton and make a right turn at the first opportunity. This is Bell Avenue. Proceed on Bell past the tennis courts which are on the left.
The first street on the left is Center Street. Just opposite Center Street, on the right-hand side, is the Biology Building. There is a green sign in front identifying it as "Biology, Bldg. 463".
Keep driving past the building (heading east) to the parking lot just east of the building. Make two right turns into the parking lot and enter the building through the east door.
The evening meetings are in the conference room #160, the first room on the right.

After passing the guard booth proceed to the traffic light, turn right on Yale Road, the road closest to you (making an acute angle). The sign says it goes to the Apartment Area. Go about one quarter mile, past the stop sign and look for the sign "Recreation Hall" on the right side of the road. Turn right, drive to the end of the street. The Recreation Hall is in the two-story building on the right. Park your car on the street or in the lot on the side of the building.
After passing the guard booth proceed to the traffic light and make a left turn onto Upton Road. Remain on Upton Road to the light, turn right on Brookhaven Avenue. You will see Berkner Hall set back on your left. Make the second left, John Hopkins Street, then turn left into the Berkner Hall parking lot.
After passing the guard booth proceed to the traffic light and make a left turn onto Upton Road. Remain on Upton Road to the light, turn right on Brookhaven Avenue. Go straight until you pass the baseball field, then you’ll see the covered picnic tables on your right.
