||AAAG exists to provide a forum where employees and guests can promote awareness of the
Black, African, African-American and Caribbean cultures, share professional insights,
acquire information and provide leadership on their careers and work environment within BNL.
||The Radio Club is here to promote the hobby to anyone with
an interest. We provide emergency communications during weather
events. We hold licensing classes regularly for those interested
in obtaining an amateur radio operator’s license.

unity and awareness through educational/cultural/social
programs, the annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month
events, and through discussion of issues that affect the Asian

|B-Fit (Brookhaven Financial Information Team)
||Club shares information related to personal finance and
investing with the goal of increasing members' awareness of the
need for sound financial planning.
|Ballroom Dance Club
||Meets on Wednesday evenings in the North Room at the Brookhaven Center for ballroom dance lessons
given by a professional instructor.
||Teams compete once a week in gym, December - March.
||Members meet during open gym hours.
|BREA (Brookhaven Retired Employees' Association)
||Retired employees meet and discuss issues concerning retirees benefits, etc.
||Meets monthly; uses club's darkroom facilities for black & white and color processing.
||Organizes camp-outs spring, summer, and fall off-site. Holds monthly meetings.
|Chinese Students and Scholars Club (CSSC)
||Meets several times a year to promote and celebrate Chinese culture, play sports and outdoor
activities, and renew friendship among us.
||Have the opportunity to enjoy and learn about making jewelry and other crafts. Instructors
invited to increase our knowledge as well as meet on our own.
||Meets periodically to provide information and have

||Organizes the Hispanic Heritage Celebration, which runs from September 15 to October 15 each
year. Holds meetings as needed.

|Rifle & Pistol Club
||Holds shoots year-round at off-site range. No firearms allowed on BNL site. Meetings are held
the 2nd Wednesday of the month in Bldg 535 Conference Room at noon.

||Ancient Chinese art, which is soft flowing, mentally relaxing form of exercise. Meets three
days a week at Brookhaven Center.

||To support BNL veterans and employees who are faced with the challenges of their loved ones
currently serving in the military.
||The League plays in the gym on Mon & Wed eve, with practice games on Thurs Noon and Sat at 10am.
