The fold and active site of the Yeast Hypothetical Protein YBL036C are shown. This protein, P007, was selected by the structural genomics approach. Though the protein has no sequence similarity with previously known structures it folds as a TIM-barrel. The cofactor pyridoxal-5'-phosphate is covalently bound to the protein in the active site. Cofactor and interacting residues are shown in ball and stick representation.
