   YY/Deepak,

Please review the following parameters for the SNS ring
    large chromaticity sextupole design.

   The new design involves:
   (1) changed the conductor from 3-layer to 2-layer
   (2) pole width slightly narrower
   (3) pole surface radius changed slightly

I have finished 2d and 3d analyses. Here are the brief ---

   (A) For 1.0 GeV
By applying I=287 A (23 turns per pole),

       B (at R=13 cm) = 1.81 kG

       Half Int(b3)dz is 2.978e4 g-cm (at R=13 cm)
       ---- equivalent to total Int(G)dz 7.0486 T/m
       (Required 7.05 T/m, J.Wei Note 076, p.33)

       Half Int(b9)dz is 3.3 g-cm (or 1.1e-4 level)

   (B) For 1.3 GeV
By applying I=345 A (23 turns per pole),

       B (at R=13 cm) = 2.17 kG

       Half Int(b3)dz is 3.5778e4 g-cm (at R=13 cm)
       ---- equivalent to total Int(G)dz 8.486 T/m
       (Required 8.55 T/m, J.Wei Note 076, p33)

       Half Int(b9)dz is 3.8 g-cm (or 1.1e-4 level)

We need a little bit more current, say I=348 A for 1.3 GeV
