Electronic Materials: Nanofabrication, Thin Film Materials and Devices

Fernando Camino works in the Electronic Materials group of the Center for Functional Nanomaterials. He obtained his Ph.D. at Stony Brook University in 2003 studying shot noise in mesoscopic semiconductor and super/semiconductor hybrid devices. He then joined Professor V. J. Goldman's group at Stony Brook, where he performed experiments on quantum interferometers in the quantum Hall regime. In parallel with assisting CFN users, Dr. Camino is focused on understanding electronic transport in nanostructures, a task which usually demands the development of novel nanofabrication techniques.
