Nan ShaoTheory and ComputationNan Shao joins the Theory and Computation group as a
postdoctoral research associate. She received her PhD in chemistry from
University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she studied the structural evolution
of nanoscale molecular clusters. Prior to joining CFN, she was a postdoc at
Oak Ridge National Lab, gaining experience in understanding the
electrochemical windows of high-voltage electrolytes for Li-ion batteries.
Now she will use her expertise to help us explore the electronic structure
at materials interfaces in organic solar cells and the implications for
photovoltaic performance, in close cooperation with optical experiments.
