Rocio Cortes-Rodriguez

Interface Science/Catalysis

Rocio Cortes is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Interface Science and Catalysis group since March 2011. She obtained her Ph.D. from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain, in February 2009.  From March 2009 until February 2011, she was Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Fritz-Haber-Institut. MPG and Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, awarded with a Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers. Her research at the CFN focuses on the combination of ultrafast laser excitation with Low Temperature Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (LT-STM) detection and imaging to study the dynamics of photoinduced chemical transformations at nanostructured surfaces.
