Rosa Diaz Rivas

Electron Microscopy

Rosa Diaz is a postdoctoral research associate in the Electron Microscopy Group in the Center for Functional Nanomaterials (CFN) at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Rosa received her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Arizona State University. Her thesis project involved the understanding of nanowire growth, specifically the group III-Nitride semiconducto nanowires, using an innovative technique known as environmental transmission electron microscopy. Her research interest at CFN focus on the application of Cs-corrected trasmission electron microscopy techniques to investigate the atomic structure and chemistry of nanostructures.
