Samuel Tenney
Interface / Science Catalysis
Samuel Tenney is a postdoctoral research associate in the Interface Science
and Catalysis group at the Center for Functional Nanomaterials, Brookhaven
National Laboratory. He received his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the
University of South Carolina in 2012. His doctoral work was in the fields of
surface science and heterogeneous catalysis. His research at the CFN focuses
on the development and study of model catalytic systems. He is currently
responsible for the ambient pressure X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy
(APXPS) endstation on the X1A1 beamline at the National Synchrotron Light
Source (NSLS).
