Research interests

Computational studies in heterogeneous catalysis and electro-catalysis: theoretical description of nanostructures, supported nanostructures, surfaces and their catalytic applications in petroleum refining of conventional fuel, the production, conversion and use of non-conventional fuels, such as hydrogen and alcohols, in fuel cell. Electronic structure calculations and kinetic modeling are employed.
