A fabulous day of hands-on family fun! Use the basic scientific method to explore magnets, mirrors and more. Hop aboard a fire truck and learn all about the Laboratory's protective services. Behold "Phenomenal Physics with Mr. Fish."
THE SCIENCE LEARNING CENTER
Facility Visit
Discover Science at the Science Learning Center where you can see in 3-D;
drive a Mars Rover; experience interactive exhibits that demonstrate basic
scientific principles. Bus Tickets to the Science Learning Center are
available at the Berkner Hall Reception Desk. Buses leave Berkner Hall for
the Science Learning Center every 20 minutes; last facility tour begins at
3 p.m.
LABORATORY PROTECTION
Facility Visit
Meet the team that helps the Laboratory go and grow safely; take fire extinguisher training;
use a thermal imaging camera to see in the dark; climb aboard large fire trucks!
Catch a shuttle bus from Berkner Hall; last facility tour begins at 3 p.m.
