THE SCIENCE LEARNING CENTER
Facility Visit
Discover Science at the Science Learning Center where you can see in 3-D;
drive a Mars Rover; experience interactive exhibits that demonstrate basic
scientific principles. Bus Tickets to the Science Learning Center are
available at the Berkner Hall Reception Desk. Buses leave Berkner Hall for
the Science Learning Center every 20 minutes; last facility tour begins at
3:00 pm.
ENVIRONMENTAL EXTRAVAGANZA
Learn how Long Islanders get their water and how to protect it
with our interactive groundwater model; check out the animal
footprint display; see how much energy is needed to light a
light bulb; test your recycling IQ; take the recycling quiz.
Take the shuttle from Berkner Hall to the Brookhaven Center –

Come learn scientific concepts while performing circus tricks!
Juggle, spin plates, balance bull roars and more while learning
the scientific concepts of gravity, balance, flight centripetal
force, aerodynamics, light and sound waves.
