Computer Security Preparedness and Responsibilities Training
 

BNL & non-BNL Staff Requirements

In order to thoroughly implement and comply with the security procedures documented in BNL’s Cyber Security Program Plan (CSPP) and the associated DOE requirements, all users of BNL computers will receive Web based training (WBT) on security awareness. 

WBT is required as part of the standard BNL training for all authorized users accessing BNL's network and computing resources. The online Cyber Security Training is based upon the BNL Computing User Agreement, and is available on the Training and Qualifications Web Site http://training.bnl.gov/.

One of ten national laboratories overseen and primarily funded by the Office of Science of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Brookhaven National Laboratory conducts research in the physical, biomedical, and environmental sciences, as well as in energy technologies and national security.
