Starting up the VPN client and establishing a VPN tunnel to BNL:
- Start up the VPN Client application (usually an icon on your
desktop environment or in the Start or Programs menu).
- Click once on the connection entry for BNL (BNLPixVPN) to highlight it.
- Click Connect at the top of the VPN window.

- Enter your Crypto-Card username. Do not enter in a password at
this time.

- Now enter your CRYPTOCard password. (Hard token users
may verify if their token is
in sync with the CRYPTOCard server by verifying whether the
Challenge presented at the VPN login matches the Challenge on
their token.) Click the OK button. In
a few seconds, you should see a secure connection status.

- You are now connected to the BNL network. You can minimize
this screen.
- Notice the yellow "lock" icon on the lower
right hand side of your computer screen in the task
bar. This is the visual indication that you have an active encrypted VPN
link. You can right-click on this icon any time you like to determine
the status and performance characteristics of your VPN connection.
