Student Activities

Center Moriches

Middle school students participated in an ecology study, which included measuring and identifying tress in specified quadrants.

Patchogue Medford - Bay Avenue Elementary

Students conducted a lake exploration.

Patchogue Medford HS

Students conducted bird breeding surveys, in which fourteen different species were identified, including a Cooper's Hawk.

One of ten national laboratories overseen and primarily funded by the Office of Science of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Brookhaven National Laboratory conducts research in the physical, biomedical, and environmental sciences, as well as in energy technologies and national security.
