Election Day = Sci-Ed Day

With students off from school on Election Day, November 8, nearly 140 teachers went on a field trip to Brookhaven Lab. They scoured the surface of the sun for sunspots, grew and characterized crystals, and joined in a number of other interactive workshops for the Lab’s first-ever Sci-Ed Day.
