Exploration Laboratory Programs for Middle and High School Students

BNL's Office of Educational programs is offering hands-on activities for middle and high school students.

Motivate your students’ interest in science by bringing them to Brookhaven National Laboratory, a unique and exciting setting where they can experience “Big Science”. At BNL, students become scientists themselves, exploring the nature of matter and seeking conclusions based on their own data. The experience focuses on making abstract scientific concepts real as they engage in hands-on activities grounded in research done at BNL.

One of ten national laboratories overseen and primarily funded by the Office of Science of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Brookhaven National Laboratory conducts research in the physical, biomedical, and environmental sciences, as well as in energy technologies and national security.
