So you’ve decided to start a business, you have had a great idea or you have discovered a new technology. Great! But how will you make money?

That’s the essence of a Business Model. A business model outlines how a business will create, deliver, and capture value. In this workshop you’ll get a brief overview of the business model creation process using the Business Model Canvas framework. Then you’ll put those techniques to work in a group by creating a business model for one of three scenarios:

– need identified, solution exists (NISE)
– need identified, no existing solution (NISI)
– need obscure, solution exists (NOSE)
