The Groundwater Explanation of Significant Differences has been approved. Offsite groundwater treatment systems are being constructed. Here's an update. An Italian environmental engineer toured BNL's groundwater projects. Regulatory agencies approve the decommissioning of one of BNL's earliest groundwater treatment systems. The five-year review of the Operable Unit IV treatment system is now available. In the picture to the right, Laboratory representatives work in neighborhoods immediately south of the Lab for the groundwater cleanup program.
