Kathy Geiger, who for three years has headed the community relations/outreach program at BNL's Environmental Restoration Division, is now the Lab's liaison to the recently initiated Community Forum.
The Forum, which was formed in response to community requests, is a citizen group consisting of civic leaders and others who are interested in learning more about the Lab's activities and operations. BNL's role in the Forum is to provide administrative support upon request of the Forum.
Ms. Geiger's telephone number will remain 344-3129. Her office will move to Building 460 at the Lab.
Replacing Ms. Geiger as community relations coordinator in the Environmental Restoration Division will be John Carter. Mr. Carter has worked with Ms. Geiger in community relations for the last year. His number is 344-5195 in Building 51.
