Executive Order 13423
On January 24, 2007 President Bush signed Executive Order 13423 incorporating updated requirements from the following revoked EO's:
- Executive Order 13101 - GREENING THE GOVERNMENT THROUGH WASTE PREVENTION, RECYCLING, AND FEDERAL ACQUISITION (September 14, 1998);
- Executive Order 13123 - GREENING THE GOVERNMENT THROUGH EFFICIENT ENERGY MANAGEMENT (June 3, 1999);
- Executive Order 13134 - DEVELOPING AND PROMOTING BIOBASED PRODUCTS AND BIOENERGY ( August 12, 1999, as amended);
- Executive Order 13148 - GREENING THE GOVERNMENT THROUGH LEADERSHIP IN ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT (April 21, 2000); and
- Executive Order 13149 - GREENING THE GOVERNMENT THROUGH FEDERAL FLEET AND TRANSPORTATION EFFICIENCY (April 21, 2000).

On March 29,2007 the following Guidance Document was released: Instructions for Implementing Executive Order 13423
Revised DOE Orders
DOE draft Order 450.1A, Environmental Protection Program, is in RevCom and the deadline for comments is January 10, 2008.
DOE Order 430.2B, Departmental Energy, Utilities, and Transportation Management, issued final February 27, 2008
