Surplus Chemical Program

The Surplus Chemical Program provides a conduit for users to make their chemicals available to other users onsite free of charge. Making chemicals available to other users helps eliminate unnecessary chemical waste, reduces chemical risk, improves chemical safety and reduces departments’ chemical costs.

If you would like to have chemicals you own added to the surplus table and help reduce waste please contact the Chemical Management System at CMSTeam@bnl.gov.

BNL chemical users have made the following chemicals available free to other chemical users onsite. The table provides information as to the size, manufacturer, catalog number, condition, approximate cost, and who to contact to obtain the chemical.  Highlighted lines are chemicals that have been "Recycled" and acquired by another user.

Please contact the person listed on the table if you are interested in having this product transferred to you. The new owner will be responsible for pickup of the product and the safe transportation of it to the new location. The original owner should remember to complete the chemical container transfer process, Web Transactions/Forms. Thanks for participating in the CMS Surplus Chemical Program.
