Indoor Air quality can be affected by various contaminants and comfort parameters that can make the work environment uncomfortable and unhealthy. Contaminants such as formaldehyde, dust, dust mites, fungi, spores, bacteria, volatile compounds (VOCs), carbon monoxide, Carbon dioxide and comfort parameters such as lighting, temperature, and humidity are some of the concerns in the indoor work area. Health concerns vary depending on habitat and sensitivity of the individuals. Individuals with allergies, compromised immune systems, and chemical sensitivities may experience different effects than an average individual.
