Readiness Evaluations are performed to determine the status of facilities, either for start-up of new processes/facilities, or for areas that are being vacated. There are three types of readiness evaluations described in this subject area; Beneficial Occupancy Readiness Evaluation (BORE), Operational Readiness Evaluation (ORE), and Exit Readiness Evaluation (ERE).

The facility's line management is responsible for ensuring and declaring readiness.
