Energy & Utilities Division
The Energy & Utilities (EU) Division operates and maintains BNL's electric distribution system, the site fire alarm system, the central steam facility, the central chilled water facility, the potable water treatment facility, the wastewater treatment facility, and building electrical systems.
Operation and maintenance activities are performed in a manner to ensure they are always conducted safely, reliably, efficiently, and with careful regard to all environmental considerations. The EU Division oversees BNL’s energy management programs including sustainability, conservation and the acquisition of economical electric power and fuel supplies for BNL.
