Presented by Laura Tolos, ICE, CSIC-IEEC

Bldg. 510, Room 2-160
Hosted by: Rob Pisarski
I will review the properties of strange and charm mesons in nuclear matter and nuclei. I will discuss different frameworks paying a special attention to discuss unitarized coupled-channel approaches that take, as bare interaction, chiral effective lagrangians and/or vector-meson exchange models. I will also discuss possible experimental signatures of the in-medium properties of those hadrons, in particular in connection with the future FAIR facility at GSI.
