In this talk, I will focus on some of the recent advances in understanding the effect of anomalies at finite temperature/chemical potential. After an introduction to the inflow picture for anomalies, I will describe how this picture can be used to derive the transport properties associated with anomalies. In particular, the inflow picture provides a convenient way of treating gravitational anomalies and flavor anomalies in a unified formalism.
