2013 Schedule for the Rec Hall, Bldg 317
Tuesday	Welcome coffee - 10:30am every Tuesday in the Lounge. Meet new people and socialize! Help us to welcome newcomers and bid farewell to old friends.
Tuesday	Knitting Class - 2-4pm every Tuesday in the Lounge. Classes are free and we have some supplies. Come learn this useful craft.
Wednesday	Playgroup - The BNL Playgroup meets from 10-12 noon on Wednesday at the Rec Hall, but will also schedule different types of play dates at various venues. Please check Meetup.com calendar (BNL Playgroup) for meeting locations during those times not at the Rec Hall.

BOOK YOUR OWN TRIP!  You must travel to the pick up place or point listed on your own in order to get on the bus for the trip. These are NOT BERA or BNL trips, but rather trips that you may reserve on your own.

One of ten national laboratories overseen and primarily funded by the Office of Science of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Brookhaven National Laboratory conducts research in the physical, biomedical, and environmental sciences, as well as in energy technologies and national security. Brookhaven Lab also builds and operates major scientific facilities available to university, industry and government researchers. Brookhaven is operated and managed for DOE's Office of Science by Brookhaven Science Associates, a limited-liability company founded by the Research Foundation for the State University of New York on behalf of Stony Brook University, the largest academic user of Laboratory facilities, and Battelle, a nonprofit, applied science and technology organization.
