Secure POP and IMAP Email Client Setup

Screen Shots for Selected Email Clients : Eudora 7.0

The screen shots below show the proper settings for using secure IMAP for retrieving email (Incoming) for Eudora 7.0. Versions earlier than Eudora 7.0 are not supported. Updated versions may be retrieved from http://www.eudora.com/.

  • Open Eudora
  • Right-click on the default <Dominant> person shown on the Personalities tab in the left pane
  • Select the <Properties> menu option

  • Select the <Generic Properties> tab
  • Configure the server settings using the <Incoming/Outgoing Server> information
  • Insert <Logon Name> and <Default Domain>

  • Click the <Incoming Mail> tab
  • Configure the server settings using the <Incoming/Outgoing Server> information
  • Click <OK>

  • Click on the <Mailboxes> tab in the left main window pane then double-click your <Inbox>
  • Done
