To add and edit mail profiles for Outlook 2002 on Windows 2000 double-click the Mail icon in the control panel. The following screen shots show the progression necessary to reach the POP and IMAP configuration items.

Select < E-mail Accounts >

Select < E-mail >
Either add a new account or reconfigure an existing account

From here you can add a new account to use internet email or reconfigure an existing profile
To add a new account, select < Add... >
To update an existing account, select < Change... >

Select either < Pop3 > or < IMAP >
Let's configure for < IMAP >

Configure the server settings using the < Incoming/Outgoing Server > information
Select < More Settings ... >

Select either < General >
Fill in the fields below

Select either < Connection >
Select the correct connection configuration for your application

Select either < Advanced >
Configure the server settings using the < Incoming/Outgoing Server > information

Select < Finish >
Close and restart Outlook
