Enabling/Disabling JavaScript or Active Scripting


Internet Explorer version 5 and up...

Warning:  Please note that you may loose some of the web page functionality by disabling JavaScript or Active Scripting.

  1. Select Tools from the browser toolbar at the top of your screen.
  2. Select Internet Options from the drop-down list.
  3. Select the Security tab

  4.  

  5. Select the web content zone:

    Select < Internet >
    Click on the Custom Level button

  1. Scroll down to the section called Scripting.


  2. Verify that Active scripting is enabled. If it is not, then click the circle next to Enable. Click OK.

If you do not see the option to enable Active scripting, scroll down to Part II at the bottom of this window.

  1. Click Yes.

  1. Click OK to close the second window.
  • YOU MAY HAVE TO DO THIS FOR THE < Local Intranet >
    WEB CONTENT ZONE AS WELL.

  1. If this instruction window is still open, close it and click the
    Refresh
    button on your browser toolbar.

Netscape 3.0

  • Select "Options/Network preferences/" from the menu bar
  • Select the "Languages" tab
  • Select  "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript"
  • Press <OK>
  • Refresh this web page
     


Netscape 4.x and up

  • Select "Edit/Preferences" from the menu bar
  • Choose the "Advanced" item
  • Select  "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript..."
  • Press <OK>
  • Refresh this web page
