Similar to the translation table, there is a remote rotation table that is centered on the beam line and can be remotely adjusted to align samples at any angle with respect to the beam. The surface of the table is covered with 1/4-20 threaded mounting holes in a 2x2" optical table grid for mounting samples on. Controls for the table are driven by a simple GUI that the experimenter uses, with the assistance of the NSRL staff.
Remote driver allows rotation of samples about the beam center with a vernier readout to 1 degree.
