ETA3 Classical Trio to Perform BSA Noon Recital, 5/6

Expressing the joy of life are (from left) pianist Tomoko Nakayama, clarinetist Alexey Gorokholinsky, and flutist Emily Thomas, who together form the classical trio ETA3. The trio is scheduled to perform at the BSA Noon Recital on Wednesday, May 6, in Berkner Hall.

They formed ETA3 at the Juilliard School during the spring of 2006, naming themselves after a luminous and spectacular star-forming nebula in Earth's galaxy that also incorporates the first letter of each musician's first name. They were recognized by Juilliard as one of three prominent emerging chamber music groups of 2006, which led to their Alice Tully Hall debut.

Sponsored by BSA, the managers of BNL, noon recitals are free and open to the public. Visitors to the Lab 16 and older must carry a photo ID.
