OEP Summer Student Poster Session Begins Today

Summer interns present their research at a poster session

If the Lab seems somewhat empty next week, it’s because most of the Office of Educational Programs’ summer internship programs wrap up on Friday. But before students return to their respective parts of the country, they will have an opportunity to share the amazing work that they have completed over the past few weeks with the Lab community and each other.

A poster session displaying summer student research will take place in the lobby of Berkner Hall August 5-6. Students will be on hand to discuss their work from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, and 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, August 6. Additionally, selected students will give talks on their projects at various sites around the Lab on Thursday morning (see schedule for details).

In conjunction with the poster session, the OEP has organized a talk on graduate school admission and an accompanying graduate school fair on Wednesday. The summer program’s closing ceremony will be from 2 to 4 p.m. in Berkner Auditorium on Thursday afternoon.

All are welcome to attend the events.
