The first beamlines dedicated to life sciences at the newly constructed National Synchrotron Light Source II are the three ABBIX beamlines — Advanced Beamlines for Biological Investigations with X-rays. On January 28-29, 2015, a workshop will be held to explore and discuss scientific areas and opportunities on which early operation of the beamlines could capitalize.
