Lieutenant Governor Hochul Visits Brookhaven Lab

New York State Lieutenant Governor Kathleen Hochul visited Brookhaven Lab on April 13, part of a whirlwind tour of Suffolk County that included stops at Stony Brook University, Brookhaven Town Hall, and the Ronkonkoma Hub project.

While on site, Hochul met with Lab Director Doon Gibbs, U.S. Department of Energy Brookhaven Site Office Communications Director John Carter, and several other members of the Lab leadership team. They discussed the Lab's achievements, opportunities and strategies for growth, as well as ongoing initiatives with New York State. 

The Lieutenant Governor also visited the National Synchrotron Light Source II and Northeast Solar Energy Research Center, where she spoke with Lab researchers about their work.
