Webcam Help

1. Start Control Button
   Used this button to request camera control privileges. You must first click the [Start Control] button in order to control the camera.
2. Camera Control Status Window
   Indicates the status of the camera controls, i.e. "Camera controllable", "Camera not controllable", "Awaiting turn", and the "Remaining camera control time".
3. Camera Control Time
   60 seconds is the amount of access time a client can control the webcam.
4. Number of Connected Clients
   50 is the maximum number of browser clients that can connect to this webcam at one time.
5. Pan Scroll Bar
   Use this horizontal scroll bar to change the camera pan angle (left and right movement). By clicking on a point in the video you can move the center of the camera to that location.
6. Tilt Scroll Bar
   Used this vertical scroll bar to change the camera tilt angle (up and down movement). By clicking on a point in the video, you can also move the center of the camera to that location.
7. Zoom Scroll Bar
   Used this vertical scroll bar to change the zoom ratio. Moving the slider up zooms in (telephoto) and moving it down zooms out (wide-angle).
8. Backlight Adjustment Button
   Compensates for backlighting. Useful when the video appears dark due to bright light behind the subject in the video. Click the button a second time to cancel this feature.
9. Mouse Panning Option
   Click mouse inside image to pan the camera to that clicked position.
10. Webcam Disconnected
    If your webcam console indicates that it is disconnected, try refreshing your browser. If everything is working correctly it should indicate that it is trying to connect.
