The student category includes: a student registered for a bachelors, masters or doctoral degree, or equivalent diploma, in physics or engineering and specializing in some aspect of accelerator science or engineering.
The student registration fee is US$185 (deadline February 28, 2011). The welcome reception, coffee breaks, and banquet are included in your registration fee.
All students must register.
Your student status MUST be confirmed by a letter from either your supervisor, department head, or university registrar stating that you're enrolled in a full-time, degree-granting university science or engineering course. You should bring the letter with you to the conference registration desk or, if you are applying for a travel grant (see below), send it promptly to pac11@bnl.gov, or fax to 1-631-344-5954, or mail to:

All students are encouraged to apply for a travel grant and to participate in the special poster session to be held on Sunday, March 27, 2011, which will provide an opportunity to showcase and discuss their work with active, career-phase accelerator physicists and engineers. The deadline for applications is Friday, October 22, 2010. Recipients of grants will be notified by Monday, December 20, 2010. Grant recipients are required to present a paper during the special student poster session.
All refund/cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to: PAC11@bnl.gov (or via fax to the PAC'11 Conference Secretary at fax number 1-631-344-5954) and must be received by no later than February 28, 2011. There will be a cancellation fee of $25 per member/non-member or $5 per student/retiree deducted from each refund. Cancellation requests received after February 28, 2011 will not be refunded.
