Interdisciplinary Science Building
(ISB)
The ISB will focus on energy-related
R&D enabling breakthroughs in the effective uses of renewable energy
through improved conversion, transmission and storage. The ISB will
foster energy research that spans discovery through deployment. |

Central Chilled Water Facility
– Phase II (CCWF-II)
This approximately 14,000 gsf 2-story expansion project will more
than double the size of the existing plant, and will provide needed chilled
water and compressed air capacity for several new exciting projects,
including the NSLS-II and ISB. |

Renovate Science Laboratories
- Phase I
This project will upgrade
existing older and unsuitable laboratory facilities into modern,
efficient laboratory space compatible with world-class scientific
research. |

Renovate Science Labs
- Phase II
This is the second major
renovation project funded by DOE’s Science Laboratory Infrastructure
Program, will upgrade existing older and unsuitable laboratory
facilities into modern, efficient laboratory space, compatible with
world-class scientific research. |

Utility Energy Service Contract
– Phase I (UESC-I)
The Utility Energy Service Contract (UESC) is BNL’s effort to implement energy conservation
projects in order to upgrade the site infrastructure and to help meet DOE mandated energy
reduction goals. |
