The technical focus of the Rogers lab is carbon and nitrogen metabolism, therefore most of the resources and techniques in the lab center on the measurement of physiological and biochemical markers for carbon and nitrogen status.  These range from the measurement of photosynthetic parameters using a portable infra red gas analyzer, to high throughput analysis of enzyme activities using a liquid handling robot.
