Services and Support

Matrix Support

The QMO provides purchased services to departments, divisions and projects as requested. QMO staff members are assigned depending upon the expertise required for the task and the customer’s input. Purchased services are best suited to an ongoing task need, or for a project requiring a level of effort over several months.

Assessments

The QMO provides a range of assessment services and support. We can perform assessments for departments and divisions, provide assessment team leadership, and help departments/division prepare for external and internal assessments. We can also assist in the preparation of organizational or programmatic assessment plans. QMO are qualified to perform assessments of QA Programs, EMS/ ISO 14001 Programs, and OHSAS 18001 (Safety & Health standard)

Supplier Evaluations

The QMO can assist organizations in performing evaluations of suppliers (pre and post award). The QMO maintains a list of evaluated calibration laboratories (List Of Calibration Laboratories Evaluated By QMO).

Facilitation

The QMO staff includes trained and experienced facilitators. Facilitation support can increase the productivity of meetings and workshops. Facilitation services are available for team meetings, strategic planning workshops, causal analysis teams, and organizational EMS reviews. QMO staff can assist in planning the meeting/workshop as well as facilitate the event.

Training

The QMO is in the process of developing a series of web-based courses for Quality Representatives and others who need to understand how the Laboratory’s Quality Assurance Program is implemented.  All courses currently available are available at the Training & Qualifications website.
