Workshop R3a

Heavy Quark production at RHIC

Location:  Large Seminar Room - Physics, Bldg. 510

Date:  May 13, 2004

Organizers:  Huan Z. Huang, Vince Cianciolo, and Kirill Tuchin

Description:  This workshop will highlight recent measurements of heavy quark production from RHIC experiments.  Theoretical understanding of the heavy quark production dynamics and probes of the nature of dense matter created in heavy ion collisions at RHIC using heavy quarks will be discussed.

Experimental results from FNAL and SPS programs will also be reported.
