It is your responsibility to reserve your own accommodations.
Lodging at Brookhaven (on-site housing)
Brookhaven has limited on-site accommodations which will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact the BNL Housing Office directly to make your own on-site reservation. Please see the section below called "Accommodations Near Brookhaven" for a complete list of area hotels.
Note: Due to a required review process, all attendees must be registered and approved in the BNL Guest Information System (GIS) if they plan to stay on-site. Please complete this process as soon as possible to ensure sufficient time for complete approval. Late registrations may not receive approval in time for on-site accommodations. Registering in GIS does not automatically register you for this event.
- For reservations, please contact the Housing Office directly.
- All reservations are guaranteed and must be paid if not cancelled by 1:00 pm on the day of arrival.
- Fees for on-site lodging are paid directly to the Housing Office, Building 400, upon check-in. cash, checks, travelers checks or credit cards (Visa, Amex, MasterCard) are accepted.

Accommodations Near Brookhaven
The following hotels are the closest to Brookhaven National Laboratory in distance (approx. 15-45 minutes in driving time). Please note, a major credit card will be necessary to hold your reservations until you check in. Brookhaven National Laboratory is located on William Floyd Parkway, County Road 46, 1 1/2 miles north of Exit 68 of the Long Island Expressway; hotel locations are given by exit number. Exit numbers below 68 are west of BNL; exit numbers above 68 are east of BNL. If you decide to stay off-site, it is your responsibility to call the local hotels directly and make your own reservation.
